Holidays With Our Listeners

In Episode 19 we hear voicemails from some of our listeners! We posed these questions to our listeners in our request for messages:

Thank you so much to everyone who called in! We listen to each voicemail and react in real time. We reflect on the answers to the questions, their holiday memories, and add our own bits of advice to the advice the listeners give. To be frank, we all learned a lot from our listeners this week, and will be taking their advice to heart as we move through this holiday season. Some listeners talk about some deeply personal things related to loss, and we strive to hold compassion and space for them during this episode. Advice/tips: If you are in a safe physical and emotional space to do so, allow yourself to feel your feelings as they arise. Know that the holidays are often bittersweet and that feeling two or more seemingly opposing feelings is normal. Remember, you are not alone; we, along with so many others, truly understand the challenges of navigating the holidays without our moms.
